"Soap for sore eyes/ Need a little vision/ If looks could kill/ I'd kill your television"

Well, kiddies, I'm still on for the solo show this week, but it'll only be half-time before I have to head off to a work meeting. What that means for you is that you get a double dose of Mike Sher and the A-Ok Soiree, who will be taking over at 7 this week instead of 8. Be sure to tune in this week, it promises to be a grand ol' time!

"You hobo humpin' slobo babe/ Get off, get off, get offa me!": Setlist 11-14-05

Another week, another setlist. This time, I was joined by PLAYBACK:stl theatre editor and fellow Bellevillian Tyson Blanquart for yet another phenomenal show, setlist below. Be sure to tune in next week, when my special guest will be....NO ONE! That's right, no one signed up for this week, so I'll be taking a week to enjoy the thrill of solo radio once again. Don't get too used to it, though, because the guest stars come back fast and furious starting on the 28th with PLAYBACKer Cory Hoehn. I wonder...is his name pronounced "Hane"? That's how *I*'ve been pronouncing it, and that'd be cool if I'm right. Cuz then his name would sound like Corey Haim. And that'd be cool.

"Do ya do ya want my love" -- FU:EL setlist for 11-7

Aaaaaand catching up, here's the setlist for yesterday's show. My special guest this week was Kaylen Hoffman, and this week's episode was, far and away, the closest to what an old school Jason-and-Brad edition of FU:EL would sound like. What can I say? The lady's got some damn fine taste. This one is probably about half me and half her, but I would just like to state my wholehearted approval of every song played this week. Especially the ELO one. Jeff Lynne is god, and don't let anyone tell you any different!

Be sure to tune in next week, when I'll be joined by Playback:stl theatre editor Tyson Blanquart

"Ow, my Flander-doodles!": FU:EL setlist for 10-24

The above quote is from this weekend's Simpsons Halloween episode. If you missed it, you missed a good 'un.

Here, slightly delayed (sorry!) is the setlist from October 24th, when my special guest-hosts were Laura Hamlett and Jim Dunn, the head honchos at Playback:stl. Thanks to them for stopping by, and for having such good taste! This setlist was probably 80% or so them, so it was an atypical week at FU:EL, but discovering great new bands (like Hockey Night...these guys kick ass!) makes it all worth while.
